Let’s Fly with a Kite
Maybe you’ve reached that point in the year when you find yourself looking back.
So much has happened. Some things may have turned out differently than you expected. There may have been challenges you had to navigate, things you’re proud of, things that didn’t work out, and perhaps a few things you’re still trying to make sense of.
Maybe you’ve been busy getting through the year, without having much time to stop and notice what it has actually been like for you.
Or perhaps you simply feel that autumn is inviting you to slow down a little. The days are getting shorter, the year is drawing to a close, and something in you is ready for a pause — a chance to gather yourself, take a breath, and look at what you want to carry with you into the next chapter.
And maybe there are also things you’re ready to leave behind.
This is where the kite comes in.
Do you remember flying a kite as a child? Watching it catch the wind, letting it pull and dance in the sky — perhaps even feeling, for a moment, that it had become a little companion of its own.
In this small three-part online workshop, we’ll bring a little of that playful spirit back.
Through simple creative activities, collage, paper and a little imagination, we’ll look back at 2026, explore what has carried us through, and gently consider what we want to take with us — and what we might be ready to let go of.
As autumn slowly turns towards winter, there will also be space for the quieter side of the season: slowing down, resting, gathering energy and noticing what you need.
You don’t need to be artistic. You don’t need to know what you want to say or make before you join. There is no right or wrong way to do it.
You simply need to bring yourself, a little curiosity, and some everyday materials from home.
Together, we’ll create a little space to look back, notice what matters, and make room for the time ahead.
